Rate of Pay: $22.59 plus $4.93 H&W ($27.52 total)
Schedule: Monday through Friday - 6:30am to 11:30am
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists the Project Manager with the coordination and completion of other employees duties.
- Assists withe floor work as needed, including weekend work when required.
- Coordinates and oversees completion of assigned tasks in the absence of Project Manager.
- Works with the Recycle Driver to remove recyclable materials from recycling bins and containers in various locations.
- Uses best practices to load and transport recyclable materials.
- Maintains collection schedule
- Maintains floors and carpets by operating high and low-speed scrubbers and carpet extractors.
- Completes floor refinishing tasks to include strips, recoats, scrubs, and buffing
- Operates and maintains various equipment used for floor care maintenance, such as:
- Automatic scrubbers
- Floor Scrubbers
- Floor Burnishers
- Carpet Extractors
- Wet/dry vacuums
- Coordinates with the Recycle Driver to complete recycling collection and dumping safely and efficiently.
- Coordinates with the custodial team to safely and efficiently complete floor work jobs like strip/wax and carpet extraction.
- Maintains communication with supervisor consistently, keeping them informed of areas of improvement
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to engage in physical activity including standing, walking, descending stairs
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass a government background check
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
- Valid driver's license
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- Custodial experience
- Ability to maintain equipment/supplies.
- Ability to maintain floors and carpets by operating high and low-speed scrubbers and carpet extractors.
Conditions of Employment
- Must meet program eligibility requirements
- Criminal background check to meet Agency and DOD requirements
- Driver's License - Class C
- You must pass a government background to acquire a PIV access badge.
