Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The E-Commerce Logistics Manager responsibilities Includes the following and other duties as assigned:
- Plan or implement shipping flow management systems to meet production requirements.
- Trains and supervises Shipping and Material Handlers and steps in to perform shipping and material handling duties as needed.
- Ensures accurate and timely order handling.
- Responsible for organizing warehouse and keeping it safe and clean.
- Oversees of all aspects of shipping shelving and logistics for online sales.
- Maintain accountability for high levels of customer service.
- Collaborate with staff and leadership to solve work-related problems.
- Review work throughout the work process and at completion to ensure that it has been performed properly.
- Check specifications of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained in purchase orders.
- Inform designated employees or departments of items loaded or problems encountered.
- Inventory supplies and requisition or purchase additional items, as necessary.
- Develop and train staff to ensure all logistic needs are met
- Effectively and efficiently manage the budget including maintaining payroll budgets and controlling expenses.
- Ensure supplies are maintained and spent to sales and budgets.
- Ensure that loss prevention matters are reported and investigated accurately and in a timely manner.
- Lead and maintain a culture of safety throughout the department as a top priority while meeting productive needs.
