About The Position
The IT Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Information Technology Department. This highly visible position requires excellent communication skills to interact with team members, residents, other GL staff, and vendors. The role demands independent performance and a high degree of judgment and initiative in handling non-routine situations.
Key Duties
- Respond to help desk calls and emails from staff and residents, triage requests and create tickets in the help desk system, and schedule appointments for resident support.
- Manage billing for resident support services and supplies.
- Create, modify, and remove user accounts in Active Directory, MatrixCare, and other systems.
- Oversee the Cyber Security training program.
- Act as a liaison between contractors, engineers, and vendors, assisting with scheduling as needed.
- College degree with experience in business or project management.
- Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload.
- Team player with the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with staff, residents, and contractors.
- Proficient in collecting and interpreting data and developing reports using critical thinking and judgment.
- Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
