Job Summary
Seeking an experienced ASR Manager to oversee and optimize the recovery of aluminum and other valuable materials from shredder residue. The ideal candidate will have strong metals' recovery experience, heavy equipment knowledge, and a proven track record in process improvement and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
5 years in ASR processing, metal recycling, or similar industry.
Strong knowledge of eddy current separators and metal separation technologies.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Ability to analyze data and improve recovery processes.
Knowledge of aluminum and non-ferrous metals.
Preferred
Experience in aluminum smelting or recycling.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Strong mechanical aptitude.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Manage ASR Recovery – Oversee processing to maximize aluminum and metal recovery using eddy current separators and air classifiers. Adjust material flow to improve yield and efficiency.
- Process Improvement – Analyze production data and implement strategies to increase recovery rates and reduce waste.
- Team Leadership – Lead and train operators on processing methods and safety protocols. Conduct performance reviews and corrective actions.
- Safety & Compliance – Ensure operations meet OSHA, EPA, and company standards. Conduct audits and enforce safety protocols.
- Reporting – Track and report production metrics, recovery rates, and material quality. Communicate performance to senior management.
