Conference Services And Director Of Catering Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years in catering sales, with at least 2 years in a director role
• Expertise in overseeing event logistics from initial planning to post-event evaluation
• Proven ability to negotiate, close sales, and manage contracts effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in advanced computer applications including Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Delphi/FDC software
• Demonstrated knowledge of banquet operations, including room setups, AV equipment, scheduling, and menu planning
• Ideally experience managing 80,000 square feet of meeting space
• A creative talent for designing tailored menus and programs that help the resort stand out
• A personable and engaging demeanor that fosters client connections
