We are seeking a detail-oriented Controls Engineer to design, program, and optimize electromechanical control systems for our innovative products. This role focuses on developing reliable, efficient systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Controls Engineer Compensation And Benefits

• Base Salary of $100,000 to $140,000

Controls Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and document control systems, including wiring schematics, panel layouts, and PLC/Smart relay software.
• Troubleshoot and debug systems during testing, commissioning, and maintenance to ensure performance and reliability.
• Evaluate and integrate new components and technologies to enhance system functionality and reduce manufacturing complexity.
• Create clear instructions, training materials, and processes to support operators and technicians in system assembly and product launches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement design changes, manage engineering documentation, and improve production workflows.
• Provide technical field support during equipment installation, testing, and startup.
  
  

Controls Engineer Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in controls engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in PLC programming languages, such as Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram, and Structured Text.
• Experience with CAD tools for creating wiring diagrams and panel designs.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and teach others new technologies.
