The Director of Group Sales reports to the Executive Director of Sales in the Central Florida area. We are seeking someone with strong leadership and organizational skills to drive the company’s revenue expectations, establishing and directing the goals through motivation and clear communication, ensuring positive relationships, strong sales skills; strategizing; multi-tasking; initiative; and business professionalism.

• Includes hotels, luxury retail, multiple upscale restaurants, a hospital, exposition centers, meeting and convention facilities
• 300K acres
• Over 1,000,000 square feet of flexible indoor space, utilized for events, trade shows, conventions, sporting events and more
• Located about one hour north of Orlando FL
  
  

Director Of Group Sales Qualifications

• 10 years of experience within hospitality/hotel sales
• You must come with a valid book of business, clients and contacts who follow you where you go
• You must be able to show proven sales and business development success
• You must have experience selling 400K sf of both traditional and non-traditional event and function space
• Hotel operations experience is a plus
• On-site sales experience of a large single location
• At least 8 years operations experience or 5 years in a director of sales position
• Florida Market experience is a plus
• Strong leadership skills, advanced problem solving and decision-making skills
• Polished presentation
• Delphi experience preferred
• You must have experience with large events, trade shows and city-wide projects
• You must be open to travel for sales calls and destination event shows - whatever you think is needed!
