We are hiring a Director of Utility Operations for a higher education facility in Hanover, NH.

Director Of Utility Operations Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in utility operations; familiar with steam, hot water, chilled water, and electrical distribution and production systems including high pressure boilers, chillers, and heat pumps
• BA or BS in engineering, facility management, construction management, business administration, architecture, or related field
• Experience in people management and budget management.
  
  

Director Of Utility Operations Responsibilities

• Fosters an atmosphere of collaboration within the team and with customers
• Leads strategic efforts of process improvement and best practices
• Plans and controls both responsive and proactive maintenance
• Incorporates sustainability and energy efficiency principles into everyday practices
• Acts as one of several 'on call' officers for emergencies after hours
• Manages 15-20 staff members, leading with collaboration, inclusivity, and respect
• Works alongside facility leadership to ensure parallel goals
• Oversees utility operations budget
• Help to make the department a desired place to work where people feel welcomed, heard, and accepted
