We are looking for an experience in Early Childhood Program Director to lead and revitalize our preschool program. This is a wonderful opportunity to create a faith-based early childhood curriculum that supports young learners’ academic, social, and spiritual growth.

Early Childhood Program Director Responsibilities

• Oversee Daily Operations – Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, manage budgets, and create a safe, welcoming learning environment.
• Design & Implement Curriculum – Develop and integrate a faith-based educational program featuring Bible stories, music, creative activities, and foundational academics.
• Supervise & Support Staff – Guide, mentor, and oversee teachers to maintain high-quality instruction and encourage professional growth.
• Build Community Relationships – Act as a liaison for marketing efforts, strengthen partnerships with families, and promote volunteer involvement.
• Work with Leadership Teams – Collaborate with the School Board, Pastoral Staff, and Business Administrator to uphold and advance the school’s mission.
  
  

Early Childhood Program Director Qualifications

• Fulfill Delaware State Child Care Licensing requirements, including:
• A Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education
• Or a related field with 15 credit hours in child development, curriculum planning, or similar
• At least one year of experience working with preschool-aged children in a group setting
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (documents, spreadsheets, and presentations)
