Estimator Responsibilities :
- Understand project requirements
- Identify key variables for cost estimates
- Gather information from various locations
- Research labor costs, materials, production times, etc.
- Utilize software for data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
- Review offers and quotes from subcontractors or vendors
- Perform risk analysis
- Create and submit estimate reports to relevant parties
- Build relationships with key vendors and provide planning consultation
- Proficient in Quickbid and Onscreen Take Off
- Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification is an asset
