The Financial Analyst will be a key member of the finance and operations team, providing essential reporting, analytics, and planning support for partners. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong financial and analytical skills to support business growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans.
- Provide analytical support and track key performance indicators, including average client transaction, revenue per veterinarian, and price/volume trends.
- Collaborate with Operations to identify variance drivers and align budget and forecast expectations.
- Perform monthly close tasks, including journal entries, hospital-level financial reporting, and variance analysis.
- Design and implement workflows to automate and improve manual processes.
- Support the Finance Manager with key projects, financial analysis, and ad hoc requests.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
- At least two years of experience in financial analysis and/or accounting.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Microsoft Power BI required.
- Self-motivated, results-driven professional with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and leverage various financial systems and tools.
