We are seeking a skilled IT/OT Systems Analyst to oversee the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems. This role is responsible for supporting key applications, including Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), ensuring seamless integration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and security of critical utility systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency.

IT/OT Systems Analyst Key Responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and optimize IT/OT systems, including AMI, GIS, and Meter Data Management (MDM) platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system applications, integrations, and data exchanges.
• Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and address hardware or communication failures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to generate reports, queries, and data analyses for operational insights.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers to support system upgrades and issue resolution.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols, change management policies, and regulatory standards.
• Provide on-call support for critical system alerts and participate in emergency response operations as needed.
  
  

IT/OT Systems Analyst Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, OT, or a related field.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting IT applications, preferably within a utility or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of AMI, GIS (ESRI/GE Smallworld), and utility metering systems is preferred.
• Strong understanding of databases, reporting tools, and system integrations.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently and within teams.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and occasional travel for training or vendor meetings.
