We are seeking a Luxury Diamond Jewelry Designer to join our esteemed team in Chicago. This role is ideal for a creative visionary with a passion for crafting exceptional, high-end jewelry pieces featuring high end diamonds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine jewelry design, an eye for detail, and a deep understanding of luxury aesthetics.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and design exquisite diamond jewelry pieces, from sketches to final production.
- Work closely with gemologists, CAD designers, and master jewelers to bring designs to life.
- Stay ahead of trends in luxury jewelry, fine craftsmanship, and diamond settings.
- Collaborate with clients for custom commissions, ensuring a personalized and bespoke experience.
- Ensure all designs meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and brand identity.
- Partner with production teams to oversee prototypes and final product development.
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, materials, and competitors in the fine jewelry space.
- Proven experience designing luxury diamond jewelry (high-end retail, private collections, or bespoke commissions).
- Strong proficiency in hand sketching and/or CAD software (Rhino, Matrix, or similar).
- Deep understanding of diamond grading, cuts, and settings.
- Experience working with diamonds and an appreciation for traditional craftsmanship.
- Knowledge of metalworking techniques and gemstone setting.
- A keen eye for luxury design aesthetics and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
