Seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer (P.E.) Manager for river transportation operations in western Kentucky. Qualifications

• Current P.E. NFPA70 and NFPA70E (or ability to obtain shortly after employment)
• 3 years experience with maritime vessels & facilities
• Previous design and leadership experience
• Electrical engineering degree
• Physical abilities: work in extreme weather, walk on uneven surfaces, lift, climb, bend, twist, work in confined spaces, maneuver hazardous areas, etc.
• Ability to travel to sister facilities and be on call 24/7
  
  

Responsibilities

• Oversee Engineering department including electrical and controls needs, safety standards, maintaining documentation, vendor relations
• Remain up to date on new technologies
• Manage staff, training engineers and reviewing repairs and installs
• Source parts for repairs and upgrades
• Maintain communication as to progress of ongoing projects/work
