Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

Paralegal Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with a team of attorneys and paralegals to efficiently manage high-volume litigation cases in state, federal, and multi-jurisdictional courts.
- Oversee all stages of the litigation process, including case preparation, discovery, motion practice, and trial support.
- Draft, review, and file legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, pre-trial motions, and client correspondence.
- Organize and compile trial materials, including deposition summaries, trial notebooks, exhibits, and legal memoranda.
- Facilitate communication with medical providers and lienholders, draft Letters of Protection (LOPs), and request medical records.
- Conduct legal research, summarize depositions, and assist attorneys in developing case strategies.
- Ensure all court filings are accurate, formatted correctly, and meet state and federal court deadlines.
- Assist in mediation, hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings as needed.
- Collaborate with other paralegals and legal staff to meet firm and client expectations efficiently.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism, adhering to firm policies on attendance, dress code, and security procedures.
- In-depth knowledge of plaintiff personal injury litigation, including court procedures, filing requirements, and trial preparation.
- Ability to handle multiple complex cases simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong legal writing, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with legal software, document management systems, and e-filing platforms.
- Flexible and available for overtime, weekends, and travel when required.
