Longman Jakuback is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our growing legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled paralegal to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
- Organize and maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage document production and review, including e-discovery.
- Schedule and coordinate depositions, hearings, and meetings.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Maintain and update legal databases and filing systems.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law, criminal law, and/or personal injury
- Proficiency in legal research tools, such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
