The Plant Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of plant operations will have direct supervisory responsibility of the Production Manager, Maintenance Manager, EH&S Manager and Lab Manager.

Plant Manager Responsibilities

• Coordinates plant operations, aligning goals with company strategies for profitability and reliability
• Hands-on, inspirational leader that has the ability to communicate a shared vision, setting expectations, providing feedback, coaching, and holding people accountable
• Mentors to enhance knowledge and problem-solving across operations
• Promotes a proactive (vs. reactive) culture
• Utilizes KPIs to identify improvement opportunities
• Manages departmental budgets, reporting deviations to the CEO
• Enforces best practices in SOPs and robust training for operators/technicians
• Expert in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and resolves issues to prevent recurrence
• Oversees effective plant shutdowns, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion
• and ensures qualified vendors/contractors
• Drives change through the Management of Change (MOC) process
• Ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards

Plant Manager Requirements

• BS degree in engineering is preferred.
• 10 years of operations leadership experience in a large-scale industrial, continuous process manufacturing environment
• Experience with processing equipment such as evaporators, heat exchangers, centrifuges, drying equipment, boilers, cooling towers, chillers, air compressors, pumps, valves, electrical circuits, and instrumentation preferred
