The Restaurant Director of Operations will oversee daily operations of multiple restaurant locations, ensuring exceptional service standards, efficiency, and profitability. They will implement company policies, optimize processes, and develop teams to achieve sales and operational goals.
Restaurant Director Of Operations Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee operations to ensure consistency and excellence in service.
- Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and standards.
- Monitor performance in revenue, customer satisfaction, and labor costs to achieve benchmarks.
- Collaborate with location managers to resolve operational challenges and improve efficiency.
- Hire, train, coach, and develop restaurant management teams and staff members to cultivate a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Budgeting and growth initiatives for assigned locations.
- Monitor sales, expenses, and profitability, and implement strategies to hit benchmarks.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Experience: 5 years in restaurant management or operations leadership, ideally overseeing multiple locations.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in financial management and reporting.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including inventory management and food safety.
- Problem-solving and proactive leadership in a fast-paced environment.
