Senior Accountant - Manufacturing

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience, expertise in Netsuite, and a proven track record of stability. This is a key role in our growing team, where you'll manage accounting processes, ensure cost accuracy, and contribute to strategic financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage cost accounting activities, including inventory management and cost of goods sold (COGS) reporting.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation of accounts and review of journal entries.
• Develop and implement accounting procedures to improve efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
• Provide financial insights for budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure that all financial processes are in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in cost accounting and senior accounting roles, specifically within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in Netsuite (required).
• Start-up experience is a plus.
• Georgia (GA) or Washington, D.C. (DC) location preferred.
• Stable work history (no job-hoppers).
