Position Description:

Oversee and directly manage the background check and drug screen program. Manage and maintain the relationship with current background check and drug screening vendor, pre-hire, and post-hire adjudication. Coordinate, implement and maintain all administrative functions of the Global Security department to include department budget, purchase orders, security vendors, office supply ordering, and anything else that may be designated by the Director of Global Security and Investigations. Manage and approve all invoices received from security vendors. Review and process all inquiries, office correspondence, and communications. Maintain and process department records and documents of highly sensitive and/or confidential information.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Talent Acquisition teams to ensure seamless onboarding process for new hires. Collaborate with legal, medical, and HR business partners to navigate complex cases, legal requirements, and policy compliance.
• Manage the drug screening services provided by current vendor, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare reports/metrics pertaining to background investigations and drug screenings.
• Maintain annual budgets for Global Investigations, Security and Emergency Services. Manage & track purchase orders for all security and emergency services vendors.
• Manage and approve all invoices received from Security and Emergency Services vendors, as well as, tracking all vendor spending.
• Create new vendors and manage monthly transfers to appropriate Company cost centers and quarterly accruals.
• Administrate the Company's emergency mass communication platform, Goodyear Alert. Conduct trainings and provide support to all locations utilizing Goodyear Alert.
• Manage Crime Stat platform and Physical Security Assessments.
• Gather all entered Non-Goodyear Associate Confidentiality and Intellectual Property Agreement (NACIPA) documents and deliver them for record retention.

Required Experience and Education:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years security experience in a corporate environment
• Knowledge of background check investigation process in a corporate environment
• Previous experience working with budgets and accounts payable.

• Customer service, multi-tasking, organizational and prioritization skills are essential.
• Proficient with MS Office applications
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with multiple levels of the organization and associates.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic team environment.
