Job Summary

As a Business Development Executive, your primary purpose is to generate new business revenue both individually and collectively with your team. You will receive comprehensive training in Salesforce, sales process management, business development, and more to ensure your success.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Your main responsibility will be to cultivate a robust book of business by :

  • Identifying and developing referral partner relationships with professionals in the real estate and mortgage sectors.
  • Consulting with clients to assess their insurance needs, exploring a broad portfolio of carriers, and providing tailored solutions to effectively manage their household risks.

Compensation Summary

The earnings potential in your first year ranges from $53,000 to $90,000, depending on your performance. While our compensation packages can vary by agency, they include uncapped new business commissions and year-over-year renewal commissions that can significantly boost your annual earnings. Exceptional performers may also qualify for an exclusive annual President's Club trip.

Experience and Education

  • Must obtain a state insurance license after hire.
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Background in B2B or B2C sales, or a related college degree.
  • Strong competitive spirit and networking capabilities.

  • Self-motivated and proactive with a hands-on work ethic.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • This position is with a Goosehead Insurance agency that is independently owned and operated by a local franchisee.
