With offices in Congers, NY, Bloomfield, CT, and Guilford, CT, we proudly and expertly service many of the public safety, commercial, and industrial users in our areas. Job Summary
As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for providing parts and merchandise to customers while providing exceptional customer service.
Primary Responsibilities
- Answer telephone and greet customers & vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders, clarify requests, identify parts needed, and offer alternative solutions if necessary.
- Complete sales by entering purchased items into sales/inventory system, obtain payment, add to credit account, and issue sales receipt.
- Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom.
- Interact with the Service Team to coordinate parts for repair and service.
- Offer in-house and customer tech support.
- Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
- Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.
- Pick parts, pack, and ship orders as required.
- Take inventory, maintain records of goods received, and keep perpetual inventory controls.
- Process parts warranties and returns as necessary.
- Support Bloomfield, CT office with ordering parts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge & Skill Requirements
- Previous parts experience
- Understand basic components and systems.
- Radio/Telecommunications service experience
- Ability to work independently and as an active member of a team.
- Strong multitasking, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and initiative.
- Strong foundation and understanding of technology.
- Strong understanding of transmission, broadcasting, and switching.
- Control and operations of telecommunications systems.
- Solid mechanical background
- Strong understanding of public safety
- Strong and proven background providing excellent customer service.
- Good interpersonal skills as communication will be required.
- Ability to follow a detailed process.
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office Products

Working Conditions
- Ability to work business hours of Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
- Capability of climbing equipment or structures to access work areas
