Pest Control Technician

Job description

GoPest Solutions is seeking highly motivated Team Members.

Pest Control Technicians are responsible for performing quality pest control services. Identifying pest activity and potential conducive conditions for pests, while maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers.

Duties and Responsibilities (not an exhaustive list):

· Proper management of time and territory

· Perform service and inspections with existing customers

· Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers

· Inspect the interior and exterior areas of customer’s homes and businesses to determine service needs

· Must be able to diagram homes and businesses accurately and neatly when necessary

· Access crawl spaces and tight attics as needed during inspections

· Complete all paperwork necessary for each service

· Demonstrate the ability to meet sales objectives

· Understanding of the pest control industry and willingness to learn

· Accountability for maintaining company-provided equipment

· Attend industry meetings and follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales

· Identify and establish contact with potential customers

Requirements:

· Basic math skills

· Must be a self-starter who can work independently

· Impeccable communication skills

· Ability to pass state licensing or certification exams

· Able to work a 40 hour (minimum) work week

· Must be at least 21 years of age

· Must have a valid driver’s license with minimal violations

· Drug free workplace

· Background screening

· High school degree or equivalent

Physical Demands:

· Required to sit, walk, climb, balance, and frequently bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl when conducting inspections.

· The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

· Driving of vehicle

· Work both indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions

· May withstand extreme conditions such as heat in an attic in Summer or chill of crawlspace in Winter

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
