This opportunity is within our Wholesale division, which is focused on the ongoing purchase and sales of consumer products. This position works with the Wholesale deal team to source and develop wholesale/retail deals, perform asset and business operational analysis, and assist and monitor the trending and operational details of deals through completion. Job Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions • Perform deal due diligence and data collection ensuring the accuracy and validity of supplied information • Conduct analyses, use financial models, and prioritize deals as they are identified • Source and oversee wholesale/retail deals along entire lifecycle of deal • Monitor, review and analyze ongoing deals and provide timely updates to the deal team to ensure commitments are being met • Participate in the operational management and strategy development of both ongoing and potential deals • Perform business development for new and existing client relationships Education, Experience • BA/BS required • 8-10 years’ experience with a heavy focus in buyer/merchandiser roles on Buyer or Vendor Side of business, Off-Price or Full Price sector • Experience in a fast-paced, complex, deal-driven, equity/capital risk environment required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities • Excellent project management, presentation, and analytical skills • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, while managing multiple projects simultaneously • This individual must have the ability to travel domestically 30% or more of the time often with very short notice • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong desire to be an integral member of a high-performing team • Growth mindset, curiosity and willingness to learn • Demonstrated advanced proficiency with computer applications including Microsoft Office and project management and tracking software Location • Nashville preferred • Hybrid work schedule Gordon Brothers offers a very competitive total compensation package, including base salary and bonus plan, health insurance, dental benefits, a generous 401(k) match, time off benefits, and more.
