Job Summary:
The Quality Technician will be responsible for testing, recording, and evaluating products used and produced at Gordon Incorporated with oversight from the Quality Engineer.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain the appearance of facilities, verification of test equipment, and inventory of laboratory supplies.
· Run test equipment for inspecting incoming powder coating materials for compliance to specification
· Record data for archival, statistical, and analytical purposes
· Perform product testing and correlate to process parameters
· Work with powder coating line personnel to ensure all quality expectations are met
· Disposition product per specific quality guidelines
· Analyze data for effective troubleshooting and measurable continual improvement
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
· Performs other duties, as necessary.
Education and/or Experience Required:
· Technical degree preferred, or relevant experience in laboratory setting
· Understand the fundamentals of laboratory practices, scientific method, and thorough documentation.
· Have good color acuity
