Gordon Management seeks an experienced maintenance professional to assist with property maintenance needs. This position will complete all work orders and turns, ensuring the asset is maintained.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Respond to work orders from residents by assessing issues and making needed repairs. Examples may include electrical, HVAC, plumbing, appliance repairs, repairing drywall, doors, and other building fixtures.
· Maintain apartment interiors to specified standards and schedules.
· Maintain property exteriors and grounds.
· Maintain a positive customer service attitude and professional communications.
· On-Call emergencies.

· Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues in apartments and common areas.
· Complete apartment turnovers with efficiency and attention to detail.
· Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Basic plumbing, electrical, painting/patching, and carpentry skills.
· Knowledge of tools and machinery and how to properly maintain and operate them, as safety is a priority.
· Maintain professionalism while in contact with residents and employees.
· Communicate and react with a sense of urgency.
· Painting and patching.
· Ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs. without the assistance of tools or devices.
· Ability to operate and maintain a company vehicle.
· Ability to multi-task, establish priorities.
· Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
· Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
· Ability to maintain a positive relationship with coworkers and supervisors.
· Must have a valid, clean driver’s license.
· Ability to use a smart phone and software apps.
· Drug and background check required.
· HVAC certification a plus but not required.
