Key Responsibilities :
- Facility Inspections : Conduct regular inspections to ensure the safety, upkeep, and appearance of the facility, including equipment performance.
- Maintenance Scheduling : Plan and oversee all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring timely completion.
- Vendor Oversight : Supervise contracted services and ensure they meet quality and completion standards.
- Record Keeping : Maintain detailed records of repairs, preventive maintenance, warranties, and inspections.
- Compliance : Ensure all work complies with Local, State, Federal, and OSHA standards.
Qualifications :
- On-Call Availability : Must be available for emergency situations as needed.
- Education : Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills & Experience :
- Extensive experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
- Skilled nursing facility experience is a plus.
- Supervisory experience in maintenance, ideally in long-term care (LTC) settings.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office.
- Solid knowledge of DOH, CMS, and Life Safety Code requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and team supervision skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in stressful situations.
- Work Ethic : Strong initiative, drive, and commitment to providing quality service.
