Controller - Real Estate Bookkeeping & Accounting

Overview:

Gorjian is seeking a detail-oriented Controller to join our Asset Management division. This full-time, on-site role is perfect for someone with strong financial acumen and a passion for bookkeeping in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management:
• Perform daily bookkeeping tasks and financial analysis.
• Manage and audit accounts payable and receivable for all properties.
• Reporting & Analysis:
• Generate portfolio performance and investment reports.
• Audit and distribute property and investment performance reports to stakeholders.
• System & Process Oversight:
• Co-manage property management and accounting software.
• Collaborate with the Asset Management team on tenant matters and collections.

Qualifications:

• Strong financial literacy and analytical skills.
• Experience in bookkeeping/accounting, preferably within real estate or asset management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, modern work environment.

Work Environment:

• Schedule:
• Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM
• Full-time, on-site position.
• 40 hours of paid sick leave per year.
• 10 vacation days per year in addition to holidays.
