Desktop Services Engineer I

Under general direction, responsible for the end user computing environment, including imaging, application distribution, design, testing, installs, and support. Responsible to carry out design, documentation, build and testing of software packages for distribution. To ensure adherence to industry and Health System standards and establishes Best Practices, in support of the User Services Team strategy.

Position Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associate degree in a related field (e.g. Information Systems, Information Services, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology Engineering, etc.) - 3 years of related experience may be substituted for some or all education.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. Information Systems, Information Services, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology Engineering, etc.)
• Minimum Experience: Three years of experience in Information Technology; with at least one year of experience in a directly related position.
• Preferred Experience: Five years of experience in Information Technology; with at least two years of experience in a directly related position.
