Desktop Services Analyst
This position is a member of an in-house support team responsible for all academic and administrative computers on campus. This includes operating systems installation and configuration; application installation and support. The incumbent works independently with minimum supervision as well as working productively as part of the User Services team and with other technology specialists within the Information Technology unit.
Diagnose and resolves basic computing issues. Configures end user devices.
- Install and configure operating system and application software on individual and computer lab computers.
- Consult with campus faculty and staff regarding the diagnosis and resolution of computing issues including device and software problems.
- Apply working knowledge of University applications, systems and services to assist users on campus.
Physical effort is required to transport computers and other university technology throughout campus. Significant physical activity is required.
