Your day-to-day in the job will include working closely with our patients to assist them in them in preliminary testing for their eye exams, educating patients on topics of eye-health and vision, managing contact inventory and orders, and medical scribing/charting. *We will train you to perform full refractions on patients as well as contact lens fittings.* You will help treat patients of all ages and backgrounds to improve their sight and health. You will also work with our doctors to maintain patient records, and help patients with glasses.
You will be joining a wonderful small team of optometric technicians, opticians, and front desk associates. We are friendly and easy to work with, yet also place a high value on hard work and motivation. We enjoy having fun at work and are looking for someone who is also easy to work with and comfortable working with people all day!
***We are searching for someone who is able to work at our Hudson, Worcester, Concord, Sudbury, and Northborough locations.***
Lastly, we are looking for the right person, and thus are very willing to provide training. You DO NOT need experience. However, you must be a responsible, caring adult with a desire to do your job well. We are a growing organization and want to work with people who want to try something new and rewarding while bettering their careers as the same time. If you are not already a medical technician, a background in retail sales, medical office work, or health insurance is plus.
