Mental Health Counselor – Join Our Team in San Diego, CA
Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed clinician who is looking for full-time work. This person will be a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various psychological issues.
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Implement effective case management strategies to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Utilize evidence-based practices in clinical research to inform treatment approaches.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with HIPAA standards and ensure confidentiality of client information.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in social work and mental health care.
Compensation: $110,000 to $130,000 annually, plus benefits
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling. Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field from an accredited institution
- Active license/certification in your respective state (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT)
- Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals facing emotional challenges
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly
- Experience using electronic medical records systems preferred but not required
