Nurse Practitioner ( Orthopedics )

Full-time Nurse Practitioner Needed at Crossroad Pain and Orthopedics in Niagara Falls, NY

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work within the outpatient practice under the management of the Chief Nurse Practitioner and the direction of the Medical Director within the Division of Orthopedics.

The NP will work collaboratively with Physicians, NP peers, Registered Nurses, other members of the multidisciplinary care team, and administrative support staff.

The successful candidate will be trained in several areas of outpatient Orthopedics including Pain Management Clinic, Electrophysiology, Arrhythmia, Stress Testing, and more.

Both experienced and newer graduate Nurse Practitioners with prior Orthopedics-related inpatient or outpatient experience will be considered.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Work alongside several Orthopedics
• Manage patients with Hypertension and High Cholesterol.
• Provide outpatient-only Electrophysiology services to patients with abnormal arrhythmias, device patients, and more.
• Manage patients with acute conditions such as Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, VHD, Stroke/Transient Ischemic Attack, and more.
• Provide Stress Testing as needed.
• Receive consultation and supervision from on-site Orthopedics.
• Perform history and exams, and prescribe medication as required or directed.
• Refer patients to specialists within the group as necessary
• Provide education to patients and family members as necessary.
  
  

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited program pertinent to the departmental needs (OB/GYN, Pediatrics, etc) and has passed the appropriate certification exam
• Master’s or doctoral degree
• Graduate of approved Nurse Practitioner program with certification
• Current license
  
  

Pay:

$120,00.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Days / Hours / Compensation / Benefits:
