IT Support and Service Management Lead

Our direct client, an investment management firm, has hired us to help them in their search for a hands-on Vice President of IT Support & Service Management. This person will be responsible for managing (1) technical support employee and vendors and lead IT operations.

The role includes managing third-party system integrations, supporting high-profile users, and ensuring IT services align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

This role requires this role to be onsite 5 days a week in Chelsea area of NYC.

Total comp package includes: Base salary, bonus (total comp @225k) plus and comprehensive benefit package.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage IT support for systems including trading platforms (i.e. Bloomberg), ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.
• Provide efficient IT support services for traders, analysts, and executives.
• Implement ITSM frameworks for optimized service delivery.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and manage SLAs.
• Align IT support with organizational goals, prioritizing efficiency, security, and compliance.
• Oversee secure, scalable cloud operations and support applications.
• Manage mobile device platforms and secure messaging systems.
• Manage procurement, budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Key Qualifications:

• 10 years of hands-on IT support experience in a small boutique financial organization
• Experience supporting the overall IT Infrastructure including everything from menial tasks and providing support to decision making for the IT environment, budgeting and vendor relationships
• Expertise in supporting third-party integrations and financial technology platforms.
• Knowledge of ITSM frameworks like ITIL.
• Proven leadership, team management skills and provide top notch professional demeanor as the face of the IT department
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, mobile device management, and data security.
