Responsible for providing pre-sales support to our Global Client team with customers covering all aspects of IT & Security. The SA will work closely with the sales team to understand client requirements and offer technical solutions that meet their needs. The ideal candidate will have a solid hands-on background in IT infrastructure and security, as well as strong communication skills to translate technical capabilities into business benefits.
Description of Duties
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify technical opportunities for both new and existing clients.
- Provide technical expertise during client meetings, presentations, and solution discussions.
- Develop and present technical proposals that align with customer requirements and business goals.
- Act as a liaison between the sales team and technical teams to ensure smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to guide customers in making informed decisions.
- Coordinate product demonstrations and proof-of-value evaluations for customers.
- Assist in developing and refining sales collateral, presentations, and technical documentation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Security Knowledge
- Experience with Endpoint Security, including antivirus, EDR, and MDR solutions.
- Understanding of Vulnerability Management and Managed Detection & Response (MDR) services.
- Knowledge of Directory Services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP).
- Familiarity with Data Protection (e.g., DLP, encryption) and Identity & Access Management (IAM).
General IT Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Operating Systems including Windows, Linux, and Mac.
- Experience with application deployment and patch management.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (e.g., TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, switches).
- Familiarity with endpoint management solutions.
Communication and Collaboration
- Ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value propositions for non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent presentation and customer-facing skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in computer science, management information systems or related field or equivalent experience.
- Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, CrowdStrike, Tenable).
- Prior experience in a Value-Added Reseller (VAR) or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
- Experience working with both small and large-scale IT environments.
This role requires ability to be on-site at client meetings in the NYC Metropolitan area regularly.
Total compensation for this role is expected to be between $150,000 and $175,000
