The Role
Your mission
GotPhoto is looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Representative to join our Sales team in the United States (you must be located and resident in one of these US states: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Louisiana or Virginia) to ensure new customer acquisition improving our revenue operation via digital and physical channels.
Our business and team are growing: we will have around 200 employees, distributed over 5 countries, by the end of 2025. As we grow and expand, we recognize the need for a dedicated BDR to join our team and generate new business opportunities by contacting & qualifying leads. This role's main goal is to get prospective new customers excited to use our system & book them into the sales funnel
Responsibilities
Proactively engage leads generated from our marketing activities, employing cold calling and video emailing techniques to captivate interest and encourage further exploration of GotPhoto's offerings.
Support the creation and structuring of our outbound business development function
Drive the growth of our sales pipeline by adeptly setting up qualified meetings for our Account Executives. Collaborate closely with the team to refine and optimize our client approach.
Innovate and explore new avenues to connect with photographers, serving as the initial point of contact for potential customers through email, calls, and participation in trade shows.
Stay abreast of industry trends, and serve as a conduit between customers and the GotPhoto product team and management. Share pertinent product feedback, customer needs, and insights to contribute to the ongoing refinement and development of our offerings.
We are looking for:
At least 3 years of experience cold-contacting prospective customers in a pre-sales or business development role
Sales experience in a SaaS environment
Excellent prospecting skills
Willingness to build and refine sales processes on the fly
Experience working with a CRM like HubSpot or Salesforce
Bonus: fluency in French
