Key Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care
- Conduct daily rounds to assess patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with complex needs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Leadership and Education
- Supervise and mentor junior psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
- Instruct medical staff, residents, and students within educational programs.
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in medicine from a recognized institution.
- Licensure to practice medicine in Rhode Island.
- Board certification in psychiatry.
