Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Developer for Clinical Applications to support a pharmaceutical client in building, enhancing, and optimizing clinical applications. The ideal candidate will have strong development expertise in clinical software solutions and a fundamental understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve application performance, automation, and data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance clinical applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical researchers, data scientists, and IT teams, to align application features with business needs.
- Integrate AI-driven capabilities into clinical applications for enhanced data processing, predictive analytics, and automation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, HIPAA, GxP) in application development and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring optimal application performance.
- Work with databases, APIs, and cloud platforms to support data-driven clinical applications.
- Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and their applications in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
- 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years focused on clinical applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Experience with clinical software systems (e.g., EDC, CTMS, LIMS, CDMS).
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in clinical data processing.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and database management (SQL, NoSQL).
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Familiarity with clinical trial data standards (e.g., CDISC, SDTM, ADaM).
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries.
