Job position description:
We’re seeking a full-time Bookkeeper who will work in our Escrow/Accounting department and perform the following duties:
- Reconcile various bank and internal accounts
- Review incoming and outgoing funds for accuracy and approval
- Audit and prepare various 1099's including government reporting
- Answer incoming phone calls from internal staff from multiple locations and customers regarding Escrow/Accounting needs
- Ensure the company's Escrow/Accounting policies and procedures are being followed
- Troubleshoot inconsistencies in numerical data
- Maintain confidentiality of customers' personal information and company information
The ideal candidate we’re looking for is someone who enjoys working as part of a team in an office environment, has a strong attention to detail, strives for accuracy, and enjoys working with numbers and spreadsheets.
Primary Functions, Skills, Experience, and Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and working with spreadsheets/formulas
