What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Improvement Carpenter/Helper position at GP Construction?
Responsibilities:
- Preform & Assist with various tasks related to construction projects
- Prepare and set up tools and equipment for carpentry work
- Assist with concrete forming, cabinet installation, roofing, construction painting, and flooring installation
- Help with frame carpentry, including measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor as needed
- Operate power tools and hand tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and principles
- Familiarity with concrete forming, cabinet installation, roofing, construction painting, and flooring installation
- Ability to use power tools and hand tools safely and effectively
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Good communication skills and ability to work well along or in a team environment
Requirements
-Valid NC Drivers License Required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
