Job Summary:
As a Business Operations Assistant at GP Customs, you will be the face of our business, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk. Your responsibilities will range from managing paperwork and inventory to engaging with clients, running errands, and supporting managerial tasks. This role offers ample opportunities for growth and specialization within the dynamic automotive customization industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Care and Sales:
- Welcome clients and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product recommendations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for client communications, both in-person and via phone/email.
- Assist clients with product selection, scheduling appointments, and coordinating services.
- Maintain a clean and inviting showroom environment to enhance the customer experience.
Paperwork and Documentation:
- Manage and organize business-related paperwork, including invoices, receipts, permits, and contracts.
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation as needed.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring sufficient stock of automotive customization products and supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to replenish inventory as needed.
Technical Assistance:
- Collaborate with technicians to provide support with technical tasks, including vehicle modifications, installations, and repairs.
- Learn and develop technical knowledge and skills to better assist clients with their customization projects.
Errand Running:
- Execute various errands, such as picking up materials, delivering products, and assisting with vehicle transport when necessary.
Managerial Tasks:
- Assist in scheduling appointments, managing appointments, and coordinating workflow.
- Support administrative and managerial tasks, such as payroll, employee scheduling, and client communications.
Continuous Learning and Growth:
- Proactively seek opportunities for professional development and specialization within the automotive customization industry.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in business administration or customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients effectively.
- Basic knowledge of automotive customization processes and terminology preferred.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for errands.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the evolving demands of the automotive customization industry.
