Asphalt Paving Superintendent
A leading asphalt paving company is actively seeking an experienced Superintendent to join their team. The Superintendent will arrange the work of one or more paving crews and coordinate activities of workers engaged in spreading, rolling, tamping, and patching asphalt or similar material to form surfaces of highways, streets, parking lots, driveways, etc.
Provides overall on-site leadership and management on a construction site. The Superintendent plans, coordinates, and supervises onsite functions including scheduling, material control, and day-to-day direction of field personnel.
Qualifications :
- 5 years in a Superintendent role working with asphalt paving
- Strong background with mass earthwork, underground utilities, and asphalt and concrete paving
- Strong background with FDOT projects preferred
- Ability to supervise Forman and lead by example
- Strong work ethic and stable work history
