What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Attorney position at Gpac?
Position : Corporate Attorney
Location : Houston, TX
I am working with a well-established law firm that has been in business for many decades that are seeking a Corporate Attorney with experience in Real Estate, General Corporate and M&A experience.
Requirements & Qualifications of the Corporate Attorney :
- Real Estate : Experience resolving complex issues including entity formation, tax issues, environmental compliance, construction, land use, zoning, forelcosures, and bankrutpcies.
- Corporate : Provides legal services for businesses such as but not limited to planning and structure to closing. Experience in public and private financing, restructuring, sale or disposition of assets, corporate governanace, etc.
- M&A : Experience in contested transactions including sales, and acquisitions of thriving businesses, going-priave transactions, work-outs, transactions involving distressed companies and representing debtors and purchasers.
- Ideally 2-6 years of experiece in these practice areas listed above.
- JD from acredited Law School. Top 50 school preferred, not required.
- Licensed to practice law in TX.
