About The Role
As a Custom Home Architect, you will collaborate with clients, designers, and project teams to design unique, high-quality custom homes. You will oversee projects from concept to completion, ensuring every detail reflects the client's vision and meets the highest standards of design and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their lifestyle, needs, and vision for their dream home.
- Design Development: Create innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs, including floor plans, elevations, and 3D models.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
- Building Codes & Regulations: Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability practices.
- Material Selection: Provide guidance on materials and finishes to achieve the desired style and functionality.
- Budget Awareness: Balance creative vision with cost-effective solutions to meet client budgets.
- Quality Assurance: Review and approve construction documents and oversee design integrity during the construction phase.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
- 2 years of experience designing custom homes or high-end residential projects.
- Strong portfolio showcasing custom home designs and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, etc.).
- Deep understanding of residential design trends, materials, and sustainability principles.
- Excellent communication skills for working with clients and cross-functional teams.
- Licensure or registration as an Architect (preferred).
