Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of nursing operations within the facility
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure quality resident care
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including training and development
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate resident care and services
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
- Manage budgets and resources to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of resident care
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent required;
- Current state nursing license in good standing
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in nursing administration, preferably in a long-term care setting
- Strong knowledge of resident rights, regulations, and best practices in long-term care
- Proven experience in supervising and leading a team of nursing professionals
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations and reimbursement processes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- In-depth understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
