I am partnered with an Electrical Contractor who is urgently looking for an Electrical Estimator to add to their growing team. Candidates should have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with a positive and outgoing attitude. The Estimator will be responsible for developing accurate and competitive estimates.
Electrical Estimating position in the Green Bay, WI area. A well-established electrical contractor specializing in commercial and light industrial projects up to 2M in electrical value. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage and review subcontractors and vendor’s bid, proposal and Bill of Materials
- Perform budget pricing from schematic drawing and narrative
- Draft scope letters, proposals and vendor solicitations
- Work under deadlines efficiently and in a composed manner
- Identify any inconsistent issues, problems and other issues within bid documents
- Communicate and partner with project managers and general contractors to ensure a high-quality estimate is delivered on time
- Knowledgeable with construction documents, including the ability to read drawings and specifications
- Develop and maintain client relationships
Skills and Experience:
- 3 - 5 Years of electrical estimating experience
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Experience utilizing Estimating software applications
- Knowledge of general construction practices
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Codes
