Responsibilities
- Perform on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of water and wastewater treatment equipment and control systems
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and regulatory compliance
- Calibrate instruments and monitor system performance to maintain optimal operating conditions
- Install and commission new treatment systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control components
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals to support repair and maintenance tasks
- Provide technical support and training to plant operators and facility personnel
- Document service activities, generate reports, and communicate recommendations for system improvements
- Must be proficient in working with PLC systems for control, programming, and system automation
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years in electrical maintenance, service, or field engineering.
- Strong ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Expertise in electrical controls, PLCs, motors, and drives.
- Proficiency with computer-based control systems and basic networking.
- Customer service-oriented.
