Environmental, Health & Safety Manager Job Description
The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining processes to ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. This leadership role focuses on creating a safe and sustainable workplace by adhering to local, state, and federal regulations and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The EHS Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective policies, provide training, and monitor performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Environmental, Health, and Safety Leadership :
- Develop, implement, and manage EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Provide guidance on sustainability efforts, including waste reduction, energy conservation, and resource optimization.
- Conduct compliance audits and ensure accurate reporting for hazardous waste, air and water quality, and toxic release inventories.
- Oversee and analyze injury and illness investigations, identifying trends and driving corrective actions.

Qualifications
Associate’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and experience acceptable.
5 years of experience in EHS program administration and technical training required .
2 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., ISO) required .
