We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator with a minimum of 5 years of experience, specializing in lumber take-offs and wood framing. This role is perfect for someone who is adaptable, forward-thinking, and excited about bringing new ideas and technologies to the table.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct detailed lumber take-offs and prepare accurate estimates for wood framing projects.
- Review and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
- Utilize estimation software to improve accuracy and efficiency, with a preference for PlanSwift (open to other software).
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure all estimates meet project needs.
- Analyze and negotiate bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
