Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and incident-based maintenance and repairs for EIA instrumentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, both remotely and onsite, for internal teams and clients.
- Conduct inspections, evaluations, and advise on the condition and valuation of instruments.
- Install and configure laboratory equipment, ensuring client spaces meet instrument requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and provide guidance on instrumentation services.
- Deliver client training on routine equipment maintenance and promote customer satisfaction.
- Track, manage, and complete projects efficiently while maintaining administrative responsibilities, including expense reporting, parts ordering, and travel arrangements.
- Education: Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Engineering, Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years in industrial or clinical laboratories, with hands-on experience in equipment maintenance and repairs. Knowledge of automated chemistry and biological sample preparation is a plus, experience with Beckman Coulter equipment preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in laboratory settings.
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time-management abilities.
- A quality-focused, customer-centric mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 80% of the time) and work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
